Four Horsemen Studios has teased their fans with a video letting us know about a Kickstarter campaign for the next offering of Mythic Legions action figures. The Kickstarter is slated to start January 27th, 2017, titled Mythic Legions 2.0: Advent of Decay.
This Kickstarter will likely feature many of the figures we saw at SDCC 2016. That display can be seen below in a photo from ToyArk’s coverage. Notably, most of the figures in this display are female, which should help supplement the current all male line-up.
In addition, one of the Horsemen posted a picture on Facebook showing off the Mythic Legions Trolls in packaging next to a normal size figure. The Trolls are in their warehouse and being prepped for shipment.
Welcome to the Powet Top 5, where we explore the top (and bottom) 5 items we think are relevant to any of a variety of topics that span the imagination. Sit back, read, and respond
I know that when I write these articles that they tend to get on pretty niche topics. This time around I think I have outdone myself on niche-ness. If you were born any time after 1975, you should know of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and their wonderful initial toy line from Playmates in the early 90’s. If you collect toys, you should absolutely know of the Four Horsemen. You should also have heard of the Four Horsemen’s FANtastic Exclusive endeavor and the property it spawned, The Seventh Kingdom. In today’s article, we are going to draw some parallels between the properties. Read on after the jump to learn more!
This was the big one for a lot of those following at home. Mattel had some big announcements to make including Ghostbusters, Voltron, DC Universe and most especially Masters of the Universe (MOTU). ActionFigurePics actually got video of the whole presentation (seen above). I will not attempt to summarize in neat bullet point form the contents of the panel after the jump. Get ready because there were some big announcements!
Michael Crawford got some really fantastic photos of the Four Horsemen’s booth. The image above is the most recent FANtastic Exclusive winner, the Raven. Its really just a stunning piece even without paint. Below are a few of the many pictures of the Outer Space Men. For more pictures of both and more, please check out MWCToys.com. I have not seen any Symbiotech in any image galleries so far, but I know many people are looking for them.
Mattel had a bunch of news of new products for its DC licensed line including DC Universe Classics, a new Young Justice line, the final year of Justice League Unlimited and a brand new Batman line.
ItsAllTrue.net and TNI had some great write ups of the MOTU Classics announcements. I will attempt to summarize here after the jump. For more, please check out their sites.
All images in this post are from ASM. Please check out there galleries here. I only posted a very few. They have a great gallery of lots more photos. Check ’em out! [Read the rest of this entry…]
This is the main event for the toy industry every year. For weeks now, companies have been blitzing us with reveals and teasers in a PR campaign to gain position in the minds of the public. I’ll be attempting to cover as much news as I can this weekend. This post will be preserved as an index for all Toy Fair related news. As I write and update articles, this post will be updated with a link to each story.
