TGS 2011: Street Fighter X Tekken

Sean tried out Street Fighter X Tekken on Capcom’s sweet arcade pad, and Vinnk plays Super Street Fighter IV Volt for the iPhone (out now)!

TGS 2011: Mommy Tummy (Serious Game)

We’re joined by Tak of the Imari Tones — Christian Heavy Metal rocker, and composer/performer of the new Famicom Dojo theme song “RPG” — to find it what it’s like for women to go through child-bearing. Check out the 12 steps of pregnancy in this exclusive video!

TGS 2011: Sonic Generations Preview

Sean plays Sonic Generations on PS3 (in 3D!) and 3DS, plus breaks in from the future to show off some additional modes available in the downloadble trial available for PSN and Xbox Live Arcade.

Vinnk plays Puyo Puyo 20th Anniversary, probably also for the first time in 20 years.

TGS 2011: Gloops Interview and Legend Cards preview

Our first proper interview (I suppose the Evangelion one doesn’t count), and it’s one of our favorites! Taken on Day 1 of the show, we checked out the Gloops booth in the mobile games section. There are a lot of undiscovered gems in that area, but we’re hoping this one is just going to become a “gem”.

The Gloops rollout should be happening in the US in 2012, so we’ll keep our eyes peeled and check out any of the products they bring over as they’re released.

TGS 2011: Public Days Report

Reporting from the comfort of Retro Game Friends on Akihabara, Vinnk and Sean reveal how impossible it is to get much done when it’s not just press roaming the nine (!) halls of the Tokyo Game Show, and how they managed to do all kinds of things anyway. Including ALMOST getting some video of Shinya Arino from Game Center CX (a.k.a. Retro Game Master), and a picture of two of his “dai-fans”.

Also, watch the camera slowly tilt to the right!

TGS 2011: Media Magic Interview with Asuka and Rei

Vinnk and I try to interview the Media Magic representatives about their new Neon Genesis Evangelion game. “Try” being the operative word.

More interviews to come! (Perhaps with more responsive subjects.)
