Rich Guy Zach Braff Kickstarts Millions For New Indie Flick

Zach Braff Wishes He WASN'T Here. Weren't here... weren't not... well, you get the idea

Even though he’s made more in his career than most of his contributors will make in a lifetime combined, CBS Schoolbreak Special one-time guest star Zach Braff has successfully raised the more than the requested $2 million dollars to complete his new indie film that he terms as a spiritual successor to his decade-old feature film Garden State.

The erstwhile SeanOrange doppleganger admitted in his video that he was inspired by the $4 million success of the Veronica Mars movie Kickstarter campaign, a film which unlike Braff’s new film has major studio backing.

“‘You would think a big star like me would just have $2 million squirreled away for just such an occasion… but really, I don’t,’ Zach Braff in no way said, but at least I’d imagine he’d say it,” said Sean “The Orange” Corse. Sean embarked on a failed YouTube campaign in 2008 to call out Braff for growing the same kind of patchy, fuzzy beard-like facial hair for the final season of what Corse terms as “the ‘Real’ Scrubs”.

Thor: The Dark World UK trailer released

Chris Hemsworth returns as Thor in Thor: The Dark World.
From IMDB:

Thor battles an ancient race of Dark Elves led by the vengeful Malekith who threatens to plunge the universe back into darkness after the events of The Avengers.

Natalie Portman also returns as Jane Foster.
Thor: The Dark World is due out in theaters on November 8, 2013.

Though, I think Thor was the weakest of the first phase of movies, I still thoroughly enjoyed it. I am very much looking forward to the sequel’s release and anticipate that only increasing once Iron Man 3 is released.

Prostitute with three boobs returns in Total Recall

Kaitlyn Leeb as a prostitute with 3 boobs in Total Recall

A new trailer for this summer’s Total Recall film has just been released and it confirms that the greatest character from the original film will be making an appearance in this latest incarnation. That’s right, this film will once again featured a prostitute with three boobs. The trailer, sadly, does not feature 1.5x your average pair of nude breasts but we can tell from this finely cropped shot that this fine young lady does indeed have three breasts as she tempts Colin Farrell’s Doug Quaid by saying “You’re gonna wish you had three hands”. Indeed!

Kaitlyn Leeb as a prostitute with 3 boobs in Total Recall

So just who is this lovely lady? She’s Kaitlyn Leeb, a Toronto actress and model from a Chinese and Irish background. On top of a few acting jobs such as Wrong Turn 4, Kaitlyn was also a contestant in Toronto’s Miss CHIN Bikini pageant in 2009. I would have thought she would be 50% better than all other contestants in that pageant, but as you can see she only has the two breasts…

In real life Kaitlyn Leeb only has 2 boobs

Keep reading to watch the new trailer and to learn about Lycia Naff, the original three boobed prostitute!

Care Bears: Welcome to Care-a-Lot first impressions

Care Bears Welcome to Care-a-Lot - Compassion -- Not! - Beastly and Grumpy Bear

After hyping up this new show for weeks the premiere came and went without any comment. Why, you might wonder? Well as a Canadian I do not have access to the Hub, but fear not as the “first” episode of Care Bears: Welcome to Care-a-Lot is now available for viewing online at the hub’s web site, for a limited time, to people who live in the US. I found the show decent, with some nice animation, some nice characters and a few good jokes, but ultimately probably too juvenile to find a home with adult fans.

Care Bears Welcome to Care-a-Lot - Compassion -- Not! - Penny arrives in Care-a-Lot

One thing to note is that this was in fact not the first episode. This is episode 5 “Compassion — NOT!”. Why start with episode 5? I can’t pretend to understand the thought process of network executives. Perhaps this was a stronger episode they thought would hook more fans? All I know is that it not being the first episode was a bit annoying. From one of the preview clips we knew that “Care Kids” were transported to Care-a-Lot via a “Care and Share Charm”. This information would have been helpful to tell audiences in this episode, instead a girl named Penny is brought in by a rainbow and seems very unsurprised to be transported to this magical world of talking Bears who she’s meeting for the first time. Her acceptance of this incredible situation is something I can only compare to the unsurprised reaction of various characters from Megaman Upon a Star when Megaman enters the real world from the video game world. Another annoying situations is that Wonderheart Bear clearly has a belly badge, although a plot point of the first episode will obviously be her getting one.
