The Powet Top 5: Top 5 Characters that deserved to be in Fall of Cybertron, but were not

Welcome to the Powet Top 5, where we explore the top (and bottom) 5 items we think are relevant to any of a variety of topics that span the imagination. Sit back, read, and respond.

Transformers: Fall of Cybertron was released only a couple short weeks ago, but it seems that is all we have been playing. An incredibly fun and varied game, it includes some new playable characters that we had not seen before in the game’s predecessor, Transformers: War for Cybertron. Some of the new characters included fan-favorites like Jazz, Cliffjumper, the Combaticons and the Dinobots. This list offers a look at what could have been, what is missing and what is still yet to come in terms of characters appearing in the game.

Powet Top 5: Top 5 Reasons Why It’s Cool to Be a Gamer Right Now

Welcome to the Powet Top 5, where we explore the top (and bottom) 5 items we think are relevant to any of a variety of topics that span the imagination. Sit back, read, and respond

Okay ya’ll, gather around, it’s time for a pep rally!

As I said two weeks ago, there is plenty that is wrong with video gaming. However, as I also stated, there are plenty of good things about the gaming scene. For one, technology is more advanced than ever before, and two, there are plenty of examples showing that video games can be a form of art and literature. Number three, developers are breaking new ground when it comes to graphics, gameplay, and storytelling, weather it’s triple A mainstream titles or independently developed games. This week’s top 5 shows why I’m happy and blessed to be a gamer, and why you should be too. Again, not everyone will agree with me.

Toy Fair kicked off over the weekend a day early with a media event put on by Hasbro. This gave the company a chance to present their plans for the next year or so for all of their product lines. Toy Fair 2012: Hasbro Media pre-show event – GI Joe

Its here! Toy Fair 2012 kicked off yesterday in traditional fashion a day early with a Hasbro media event done the day before the show begins. In it, they show off a great deal of what their fans have to look forward to over the next year or so. There was so much information from the panel that I needed to break it down into sections. This post represents all of the GI Joe information I could scrounge together reading the coverage from other sites. I like to think I filled in a lot of gaps by using so many resources, but i will allow you to be the judge. Read on after the jump for more!

New Years Beatdown 2011: A Lost Classics/Maximum Letdown Special

In a few days, the ball drops, and the book closes on 2011. No doubt, many of you are planning on having huge New Year’s Eve parties. And many of you will drink during these parties. And for a few of you, this will happen:

(Of course there is a good chance that neither Chris nor Liam Hemsworth will be involved)

2011 was a banner year for the fighting genre. With [Ultimate] Marvel vs Capcom 3, Mortal Kombat 9, Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition, King of Fighters XIII, and Dead of Alive Chronicles all hitting storeshelves this year, the genre has came back in full force. With Dead or Alive 5, Tekken Tag Tournament 2, Skull Girls, Soul Calibur 5, and Street Fighter X Tekken hitting next year, the genre is only moving forward. This sequel to last year’s Christmas beatdowns will take a look back at the best (or at least underrated) and the worst of the fighting genre’s golden era. So without further ado, lets get to the beatdowns!
