I don’t think anyone planned on a long show. In fact, the show almost didn’t go on, with Sean and Sindra both out. But we got a last minute ringer in the form of Extra Zero, and still managed to talk about toys for an hour straight.

Admiral Ackbar plays a vital role in the Rebel Alliance’s attack on the second Death Star in Return of the Jedi. But no one cares about that. He’s really only ever remembered as the guy who says “It’s a trap”.
Ackbar is… an Admiral. That’s a pretty big deal. As the Supreme Commander of the Rebel Alliance Fleet he’s the guy who leads the whole attack at the Battle of Endor.

Yoda is a pretty cool guy. At first look he’s a gross looking green 900 year old hermit but in reality he’s a gross looking green 900 year old Jedi Master hermit! He is kind of the extreme personification of a wise old man in that his wisdom and age are both beyond anything a human could conceivably achieve. I guess this happens when you teach Jedi for 800 years.
Let’s take a look at Yoda throughout history as we follow him through his various appearances first in the real movies, then in the shitty movies. First let’s look a bit behind the scenes at how he works and what he’s about.

Telltale Games goes Back to the Future with it’s new five-part episodic game (and Michael J. Fox sound-alike), while Hasbro goes Back in Time with the Hub and new takes on its classic properties and cartoons.
Sindra and I have been evangelizing this series. If you are not watching it, you are missing out on some quality story-telling and character development and it looks like Season 3 only kicks that up a notch. Get ready! Season 3 is coming September 17th!

George Lucas thought David Prowse didn’t sound imposing enough while filming Star Wars and had James Earl Jones overdub all the lines. Arnold Schwarzenegger didn’t become a star until several years later, but there is little doubt his voice is one of the most recognizable in cinema.
