Toy Fair 2017: Transformers Titans Return

Hasbro showed up to Toy Fair 2017 with quite a few surprises, in addition to some expected Transformers lineup annoucements.
We finally got to see Leader Class Overlord, Voyagers Blitzwing and Octane and Deluxes Top Spin and Twin Twist. We also found out we are getting a new Seaspray and a new Ramhorn!

In addition to the normal line up reveals, Hasbro dropped two new exclusive box sets; Siege on Cybertron and Chaos on Velocitron.

Last Night, Nintendo revealed several new details about its forthcoming console, the Nintendo Switch. Not the least of which being the launch date, price, and some of the games that will be available at launch. Start saving up now, because the console will be hitting store on March 3 for $299. Hits such as Doom, XCom 2, and Overwatch have graced our consoles and PCS, and even more hits are yet to come now that we’re in the last 4 months of the year. We’re quickly approaching the holiday season, and these are just ten games that will no doubt end up on many a gamer’s Christmas List and Black Friday Shopping cart. Nintendo Direct News Lineup


This past Thursday, Nintendo held it’s first Nintendo direct since the passing of former president Satoru Iwata. Tuesday morning, Nintendo held its E3 digital presentation. Things were a bit underwhelming on the Wii U side (as they were likely preparing for the NX), but they went deeper into some of the newer things they were planning to release throughout the next several months. Square-Enix also had their press conference later that afternoon. While they showed more of what we had seen during the Sony and Microsoft conferences, they went deeper into what they have panned for gamers, and they also showed off a few new titles.

$20 Game of the Week: Retro Game Crunch (PC)

In 2012, Rusty Moyher, Shaun Inman, and Matt Grimm worked together during the Ludum Dare game jam. Dureing the event, they created the game Super Clew Land in 72 hours. Inspired by the efforts, the three began a kickstarter that would see the trio develop 6 games throughout 6 months, each being developed in three days. Backers would vote on a theme, and when the game was finished, they would be able to play the finished effort. The 6 games were collected in this compilation, and you can buy it on steam now. Each of these games could easily pass as an NES classic, and each of them have their own little quirks.
