As a compliment to Crazy’s last entry, I stumbled across an images of the Wii DVD cases.  They’re basically the normal DVD cases we’re all used to by now, except they’re molded out of white plastic, which seems to be Nintendo’s current favorite plastic.

Just checking some email while at Botcon 2006 and found something interesting. Take this with the usual grain of salt, but thissite is linking to a flikr image that appears to be packaging for the Nintendo Wii’s motion sensitive controller. I mirrored the image below for your perusal, but remember this is far from anything definite so consider this to be merely a rumor for now.

I do realize it’s called “LEGO Star Wars” despite the fact that I call it “Star Wars LEGO” a number of times in this review…

The news just hit – Robert Downey Jr. has been cast to play Iron Man. While I’m typically hesitant to put stock in what AintItCoolNews has to say, Reuters has already got an article running on it too. As Marvel Entertainment’s first independently produced film, it sounds like they’re doing a pretty good job with picking and choosing the people involved.

According to the article:

Marvel president of production Kevin Feige said the filmmakers looked for the best actor to embody the character.

“The Marvel characters are not just about how high they jump or how fast they fly, they’re about their character flaws,” Feige said. “They’re about their inner demons. They’re about the struggles that they go through between being a man and being a hero.”

Downey, who has battled his fair share of inner demons, worked hard to get the role, getting in shape and even growing a goatee like the one Stark sports in the comic books.

“Actor” Dustin Diamond, best known as Samuel “Screech” Powers on TV’s Saved By the Bell, has made a porn video. According to the New York Daily News Screech’s 40 minute porn will feature him in a 3 way with 2 girls, one of whom will receive a Dirty Sanchez. You’ll have to watch the video to find out which lucky lady gets the honours!

Blade star Jill Wagner, who plays Krista in the series, posted a bulletin using her MySpace page with the following message:

Thanks for all your support

Just wanted to say thanks again to all of you who supported me and Blade the Series. I was just informed today that there will be NO 2nd season of Blade the Series. I really enjoyed playing Krista and i hope that i did her justice at least for one season! However, that is not the end of Jill Wagner’s acting career. I will keep you guys posted on what’s next for me. Again i say thanks for the support. Hey, there is always the DVD right????

This is sad news to see after Kirk “Sticky” Jones had earlier mentioned in an interview that there would likely be a second season.

Still no official word from the people at Spike TV.
