Toy Fair 2015 brings us the first year of Masters of the Universe Classics (MOTUC) without Scott ‘ToyGuru’ Neitlich at the helm. Little if any ado was made about the 2015 Club Eternia subscription being in its last year. Surprising considering the fanfare that Mattel put out during sign ups. Nothing out of the blue was announced aside from a new 200x (6 month) subscription. Probably the biggest news was the bonus item for the newly announced sub.

Mattel hosted their Mattypalooza panel at SDCC this weekend and there was a bevy of news announced. One of the big announcements is that 2015 will be “The Final Year”. Its not clear if thats the final year of the Club Eternia subscription, or the entire line, but we share the reveals, new subs, upcoming figures and more after the jump. Toy Fair 2013 has come and gone. As a gigantic snowstorm descended on the northeastern United States, a hurricane of toy news was felt all over the internet. There were so many great announcements and revelations during the show, its hard to put it all in perspective. Lets give it a shot anyway! Mattel had its presentation and showed off most of what we saw was leaked a few days ago. ToyGuru claimed the leak was on purpose, but I don’t think anyone actually believed him. We got our first look at the full sized, fully painted prototype of Castle Grayskull, the first three figures in the new Filmation subscription and more. I was surfing facebook earlier this evening when I saw a photo of a MOTU Classics Mantenna shared on the Masters of the Universe Classics facebook group and I did a double take. It sure looked like an official photo and legitimate photograph, but who can tell these days. We live in a world of Photoshop mockups. I put all the images from there into a gallery for everyone to see after the jump.
