Last night, G4’s Attack of the Show got the world exclusive reveal for all of Mattel’s SDCC 2011 exclusives. They were so gracious about the exclusive reveal that they only showed a few of the many items actually filmed while ignoring some of the high profile exclusives including the MOTU Classics item.
Continue on after the jump for the rest of the exclusives with pictures, details, and some commentary! [Read the rest of this entry…]
Just a reminder folks! Today is MattyCollector Day for the month of April 2011. This week sees the offerings of Sy-Klone, Panthor, Re-issue Moss Man (unflocked ears), and the long awaited Weapons Rack. It should be a tough day for all since the Weapons Rack was not included in the Club Eternia subscription service so brace for MattyCollector impact and lots of White Screen wait times.
Wondercon 2011, taking place this weekend, April 1st through 3rd, is one stop on MattyCollector’s Collector Appreciation Tour. To honor the event Mattel had several new items on display we have never seen. First up, a poortly mocked up version of what will become the back of Catra’s packaging.
The big news, though, was Hurricane Hordak and Leech. Leech will be a new monthly Club Eternia release, while Hordak will be the major variant for the 3rd quarter.
Images of Leech and Hurrican Hordak are from He-Man.Org member, SCB. The other images are from Matty’s very own Facebook page.
Mattel had a bunch of news of new products for its DC licensed line including DC Universe Classics, a new Young Justice line, the final year of Justice League Unlimited and a brand new Batman line.
Its that time of the month again. No not that time of the month! Its MattyCollector Day! Today’s offerings include MOTU Bow (the regular monthly figure), the MOTUC Shadow Beast (regular quarterly beast), reissue MOTUC Keldor and reissue MOTUC Tytus.
Remember to use the handy dandy bulk ordering page to make it a speedier process for yourself. Items will be available for purchase at noon EST.
Images of Bow and the Shadow Beast after the jump! The images of the reissues are no different than last time. [Read the rest of this entry…]

All images in this post are from ASM. Please check out there galleries here. I only posted a very few. They have a great gallery of lots more photos. Check ’em out! [Read the rest of this entry…]
This is the main event for the toy industry every year. For weeks now, companies have been blitzing us with reveals and teasers in a PR campaign to gain position in the minds of the public. I’ll be attempting to cover as much news as I can this weekend. This post will be preserved as an index for all Toy Fair related news. As I write and update articles, this post will be updated with a link to each story.
This is a reminder to all Masters of the Universe Classics (MOTUC) and Ghostbusters collectors that today is MattyCollector Day! Starting at Noon EST the following items will go up for sale:
MOTUC Vikor, He-Man of the North
MOTUC Eternian Palace Guards
MOTUC Goddess (Not a reissue, just leftover stock)
MOTUC Grayskull stands
Ghostbusters Courtroom Peter Venkman with ghost (Nunzio Scoleri)
Please note that Evil-Lynn will no longer be offered this month. She has been postponed and some leftover stock of the Goddess will be put on sale instead.
(Sorry didn’t have time to put together the other images for today!)
