Characters from movies, tv, comics, games or whatever you geek out on are welcome. Come Halloween night we’ll showcase them all with a post here on the front page.

Just a note, I forgot when I was transforming him in the video, but Megatrons shins shift upward as well.
Enjoy!

There is a much rumored, not confirmed, and not denied new series in the works for Transformers that has been referred to as Transformers: Heroes. A number of other sites have reported on it, but thats about all they reported because nothing else was known really. Voicecasting is happening in LA. TFW2005 brings us news the David Kaye has confirmed he has been cast as Optimus Prime.
For those who don’t know who David Kaye is, he voiced Megatron in Beast Wars, Beast Machines, Armada, Energon, and Cybertron. It seems like a curious choice as Optimus Prime, considering his past with Megatron.

By way of TFormers, Digital-Toys has come out and said that the next Masterpiece figure from TakaraTomy will be Megatron.
We’ve just received official word from Takara that the next entry in the Masterpiece line will be MP-05 Masterpiece Megatron to be released March 2007 for only $99.95 Pre-order yours today….
http://www.digital-toys.com/transformers.htmlAlso, Takara has officially DENIED the rumors that TFC 06 Megatron will be re-released in December.

It should be interesting to see how this turns out if this is true. Having only seen 2 Masterpiece figures so far and those two figures being so very different, Megatron is really going to be a crap shoot. The real question is, what will the alternate mode be?
Thanks to Blanktoe for the heads up!
[Update – Crazy: TFW2005 is reporting he will be released in March 2007. Their source was a different vendor than Digital-Toys so its looking like this is more legit than just a rumor.]

Both Toys R Us and Gamestop/EB are pushing free games when you buy 2 this week.
Toys R Us is selling new games in store and online. The usual rules apply: the lowest priced game is the free one. This goes for anything excluding pre-orders, so you may be able to get some real steals if you grab 3 premium priced $50 or $60 games. I’m going to use this as an excuse to grab Mortal Kombat 7 and maybe some DS games I’ve missed….
Gamestop and its still completely seperate but identical sister store EB Games are running the same sale but only on USED product. This again might yeild some pretty incredible deals, as its possible you might grab 3 massive current gen games for under $20. You can also use the sale on DVDs, but the last time I saw a DVD I liked in Gamestop it was one I traded in the week prior.

Well, someone over at AC Toys seemto have picked up the upcoming TF movie preview toys, which are Optimus Prime and Starscream. Included are some inpackage shots (front and back) and some out of package.

Tonight, Gamestop/EB are holding a super lame Gears Of War party with no demo.
All they’re showing is a single video, which might be little more than the beginning of the game.
Since we are blessed with an INTER-NET that laughs at the idea of waiting or exclusivity, you can watch the whole thing here now.
Keep an eye out over CliffyB’s shoulder for a Powermaster Optimus Prime.
