Never played MGS? Set on the sidelines for NMH2? Ouch…�

I do have a little shame of my own: I’ve never finished a Zelda game since A Link to the Past. Once I got to the Water Temple in Ocarina, I said forget it and haven’t touched another Zelda since.

My guilty pleasure is probably still playing The Castlevania Adventure on a fairly regular basis. Yeah, the game is crap, but I just play it for the music. Does that make me a bad person?

Not at all. �Unless I am a bad person as well. �I bought the arguably awful game “Let’s Tap” just because the music is so awesome.

Really? I keep hearing how people hate the water temple so much, but I’ve never understood it.

And it’s a shame, too, because Majora’s Mask is one of my favorite Zelda games ever.

Speaking of games for music’s sake, I want to know why sound tests are a thing of the past. Is it really just to sell more OSTs?

Sound tests were awesome. �I really liked the ones that let you test the music and Sound FX at the same time. �I made poor-mans techno.

Current pile of shame: �Uncharted 2, Little Big Planet, Epic Mickey, Ratchet & Clank Crack In Time, Twilight Princess, Boom Blox.

Some of these are just games I was given or bought on sale, but in the case of Uncharted 2 I loved the first one and I have no idea why I haven’t started the second.

Zak and Wiki, Uncharted and Uncharted 2, Eternal Darkness, Dragon Age, Hotel Dusk, Touch Detective, just about anything I own for the PSP…and many, many, more games.

Haven’t played much of
MGS Twin Snakes, Legacy of Kain(did play and beat the second one though!), and Fallout

I’ve never finished a Zelda, Mario, or Castlevania game.
I’ve only ever played (and beat!) Final Fantasy and FF7 out of that franchise.

You should play Eternal Darkness and Dragon Age. Possibly in that order.

I tried really hard to get into Metal Gear Solid.� I think the problem for me was that I had played Tenchu first and I was absolutely hungry for more.� MGS was a poor substitute for more Tenchu, and I still haven’t found more Tenchu.

Sean not having had a psx, if either of you have never tried Tenchu, you should stick it on your stack of shame to play one day.� Just don’t play the sequels first, they are Sonics.

I don’t understand why MGS gets credit for starting the game type when.. Tenchu was first and is so much better (imho)

Eh, big deal. I’ve yet to finish a Pokemon game, and the closest I’ve come to playing any Metal Gear game was watching a friend play it a little.

But I think my most embarrassing confession is the reason I didn’t finish playing Final Fantasy IV. I didn’t mean to, but after about half way into the game when a bunch of characters died, I was so shocked and saddened, that I decided to take break from the game…except never got back to it.
