The latest trailer featuring the Guardians of the Galaxy has been released! We see more of the team, Ronan, Nebula, Yondu and more. I took the liberty of grabbing a few screen caps of Ronan, Yondu and the Collector (See below).Aton mebel
Guardians of the Galaxy will be released on August 1st.
Just shy of two months from the one year anniversary of the first trailer for GI Joe Retaliation making its splash on a worldwide Super Bowl audience, we are seeing the film’s third trailer. Since the intial splash of the first trailer, the movie was postponed, partially refilmed and converted to 3D. I’m not sure this movie can overcome the initial hype gut punch it received from the postponement. There are only a couple scenes we haven’t seen before, one including Duke (Channing Tatum), seemingly confirming that his death was rewritten as part of the postponement. I’m not sure I can be as excited about this as I was almost a year ago, but I’m still looking forward to it.

GI Joe Retaliation comes to theaters on March 29th 2013.
[EDIT – I moved the trailer below because it was auto playing anytime the front page loaded. Click on the article to view the trailer.]
Here is the second Man of Steel teaser. We’ve been seeing teaser images and trailers for this since mid-2011. I was hoping to see more than this. Heavy on voiceover, light on action. I’m sure a lot of people are excited over this, but I’m not. Not yet, at least.
If you liked the teaser with Black Widow under interrogation, you may just like this new teaser for Marvel’s upcoming Avengers movie. In it, we see Loki (Tom Hiddleston) locked up in a cell having a conversation with Nick Fury (Samual L. Jackson).
If you hadn’t heard already, Japanese director Takashi Miike (Ichi the Killer, IZO) has been put on to head a live-action Phoenix Wright movie that’s currently under post-production in Japan and looking at a February 11th release date.
The trailer is a bit confusing to watch due to the Japanese being yelled during the trailer’s running, but the footage itself looks spot-on, as any Phoenix Wright gamer will no-doubtly attest to. No word on localization in here in the states any time in the future, but given the game’s popularity on these shores, as well as the directorial credits, it’s not hard to think that we may someday see the movie officially released to American audiences. (at least you can hope for subbing sooner rather than later, no doubt)
The location for the 2012 GI Joe Collectors’ Convention will be New Orleans, Louisiana. The con will take place starting June 21st through June 24th. Hotel information will be coming soon, but at least you can start planning where you won’t be during those days. The June/July convention time slot is usually saved for Botcon, the official Transformers Collectors’ Convention, both run by Fun Publications. The significance of this should not be lost. The GI Joe movie sequel, GI Joe: Retaliation, premieres one week after the date of this convention.
It seems we have some sad news on our hands from the Allspark News Staff. After inquiring about the release of the Challenge at Cybertron set, the Hasbro PR team finally came back with a response from the Transformers product team. This set will not be coming out in the United States and that it is an Asian market exclusive.
We’ve confirmed that the item in question is exclusive to the Asia market – not the U.S. Sorry for any confusion.
This set features Universe/Classics/Generations Hot Rod, Galvatron and Cyclonus with anime inspired color schemes and was believed to be coming state-side as a Target exclusive. It seems that is debunked…for now. It is not uncommon for PR teams to flat out deny a product’s release until such a time as they are prepared to make that announcement. Universe Powerglide is the most prominent example I can think of, where we were told a Japanese store exclusive repaint would not be coming here, but eventually did over a much longer period of time.
