In the same vein as the deluxe Millennium Falcon and the deluxe AT-AT, this year’s large scale Star Wars vehicle is the Republic Attack Shuttle. As part of Amazon’s Cyber Monday deals, this gigantic product is marked down from $90 to $50.
You can see the Attack Shuttle on sale here.
This past Sunday Selena Gomez hosted the MTV Europe Music Awards. This included a few silly skits. In one clip she dressed as a number of characters including Darth Vader, which she did while force choking a dude, and then she turned into David Hasselhoff.
Defying modern science, Selena Gomez cloned herself, and her clone called her a bitch and told her to “back the fuck up”. Due to regional restrictions, these clips aren’t viewable in most countries, so all we can share are a few stills. Keep reading for more costumes.
You can like Star Trek. You can like Star Wars. You can’t like both equally.
We have scientifically determined which of these two mammoth space based franchises is better once and for all. We discuss all the finer points, the stuff that makes us most happy and most sad, and keep a running score.
Zac, aDam, Sean, and Cap attack this topic and turn in the longest podcast ever. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll be shocked at the results.
The Star Wars Blu-Ray release is finally out and with that we’ve got a collection of some shocking modified scenes not previously leaked. Here we have modified dialogue from Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi as well as some controversial changes to the Jedi ghost seen from the end of the trilogy.
A couple of weeks ago I asked our readers not to buy Star Wars on Blu-Ray and although I stand by that statement, I understand some of you are stubborn and would still like to buy them, so feel free to do so with these convenient links that we get a cut from:
George Lucas, creator of three of history’s all time favourite science fiction movies, and enemy of film history for his treatment of those same movies, has done it again. With the upcoming release of the three good Star Wars movies and three bad Star Wars movies on Blu-Ray there has been much speculation about the changes, but one change has now been confirmed by the New York Times. In the climactic scene in Return of the Jedi where Darth Vader confronts the Emperor, the most hated line from the most hated movie of the most hated Star Wars trilogy has been added. Darth Vader screams “Nooooooooo!” to clarify his previously nebulous feelings on the Emperor’s torturing of his son.
Check out this sweet looking XBox 360 and controller that look like the gay robots of Star Wars. Microsoft is trying to make this a big deal because it’s the first custom Kinect bundle but that’s kind of stupid since the Kinect piece itself doesn’t actually look Star Wars themed. I guess because it’s white? Kind of lame.
ActionFigurePics got some nice photos of some prototype Star Wars figures that were on display at the ThreeA Toys booth. Apparently, these figures are strictly prototypes meant to be shown to Takara and are not meant for sale. ThreeA is not making these toys. Yet? Ashley Wood of ThreeA toys took out the Stormtrooper to show off some of its seemingly decent articulation. On display were a carded Stormtrooper, uncarded Stormtrooper and a carded Boba Fett.
If, ever, a 6 inch Star Wars toy line ever made it to production, I fear it will set the action figure collecting world on its side.
