Zac travels to Dave & Busters and finds odd updates of Pac Man and Frogger, Captain Genius tries to find reason for the disappearance of DC Nation, and Jim tries to make us justify retro gaming in the face of Borderlands 2.
We’ll also try to figure out why Clark Gregg is back and why the Venture Brothers aren’t!
Adam went to Fan Expo in Toronto, and saw enough stuff that we spent most of the podcast grilling him on stuff he doesn’t quite understand. Hear him try to recall the premiere episodes of ‘Revolution’ and ‘Arrow’ as well as a round of Halo 4’s Infinity Slayer. Adam will also recount funny stories from John Barrowman and John Rhys Davies.
Rounding out the show, some discussion of the fate of the Justice League movie and whether Wonder Woman and Superman’s comic book kiss is even worth the publicity.
At the very last minute I remembered that we didn’t talk about Fall Of Cybertron. That will totally happen next week I promise.
Marvel continues its series of short form films to include on DVD/Blu-Ray releases of its movies. In the same vein as “The Consultant” and “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Thor’s Hammer”, “Item 47” deals with a minor story line related to the aftermath of the Avengers.
UPDATE – Looks like the video was taken down pretty quickly. Here’s a movie poster for the short film in it’s stead.
Agent Coulson gets another One-Shot feature in this clip called “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Thor’s Hammer”. The one-shot will apparently be an extra on the Captain America: The First Avenger DVD/Blu-Ray.
