Here is the first official full costume shot of Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man. Sony Pictures and Marvel Entertainment officially announced today the next Spider-Man film will be titled The Amazing Spider-Man and will release on July 3, 2012.

Fox has posted the first official trailer for X-Men: First Class, which comes out later this year on June 3rd.

What say you, true believers? Are you excited for the next chapters in the Avengers movie saga?

The LA Times’ Hero Complex blog has posted the first photo of Bucky from the upcoming Captain America: The First Avenger movie, played by Sebastian Stan. They have also posted an interview with director Joe Johnston who discusses how Bucky in the movie isn’t a younger sidekick to Captain America like in the comics, but instead is the same age and is a much darker character.

How many more hyphens can we fit into a title? Don’t tempt me, but here’s a few photos of some high-flying stunt action straight off the set of the new Spider-Man movie.

Galactus!

The creators at Capcom had to have a big villain worthy of bringing the long dormant Marvel VS series back into gaming, and it wasn’t Dr Wily. This game play video courtesy youtube user Bunnyspatial shows the planet crushing Galactus and many of his attacks straight from the game. The player loses, of course, and we get a chance to see what happens if you don’t win before the continue screen.

Are there any shock character reveals left? I don’t know, but even if the surprises are spent, we still haven’t played the game yet, and that is certainly still worth looking forward to.
