A new theatrical trailer for Thor has been released, which includes everything you wish they put in the trailer that was shown during the Super Bowl.

Dude, I gotta tell you, this trailer just confirmed something I had hoped to see.

There was a version of Thor in one of the made-for-TV Bill Bixby Incredible Hulk movies. He wasn’t too great-looking, and the effects were cheap, but the guy playing Thor had a lot of swagger, and seeing him get drunk in a “Midgard” tavern in the 1980s was just hysterical. JMS’s recent run on Thor also brought Asgardians into contact with Americana (especially Volstagg), often with humorous results.

That diner scene really spoke to me, but it will succeed in every area where the previous attempt failed. This will be a great movie.
