In a move sure to aggravate fans of the two highly anticipated waves of Hasbro’s Marvel Legends, The Red Hulk wave will be a Target exclusive wave and the Nemesis wave will be a Wal-mart exclusive wave. Just the thought has already given me twitchy flashbacks to the scarce availability of Toy-Biz’s Wal-mart exclusive Giant-man wave.
The Wal-Mart wave is due to hit retail in December of 2008 at US$9.99 per figure.
This wave is set to include: Astonishing Beast BlackBolt Nova Punisher Tigra Yellow Daredevil
VARIANT: Camo Punisher w/ painted face
VARIANT: Red Daredevil
VARIANT: Blue Tint BlackBolt

With agents all over the world, its kind of amazing no one from Powet.TV lives in New York City. So unfortunately, we miss going to Toy Fair. But so many sites are getting good photos up, we’ll just use this space to link to them all.
And you can use the comments section to add more links you may find or discuss what you love and hate about whats revealed this year. ActionFigure.com covers some specialty figures. TFW2005 has extensive Hasbro coverage ASM will be getting more photos through tomorrow of everything! Toy News International has lots of pictures, and a huge focus on Marvel comics toys! Wizard Universe has press and site photos
Any other sites you know with photos? Been there yourself? Leave a comment and we’ll keep Powet up to date.
So its seems there was some truth to those rumors after all.
Action-Figure.com brings us a look at the forthcoming Spiral figure. Hailing from X-Men lore, this six armed beauty is Mojo’s personal assassin/messenger. She will have a removeable helmet and shield, sword accessories and what appears to be six double jointed elbows. If only her knees were so lucky.
Thanks to Icarus of the FANtastic Forums for linking to the article and indirectly bringing it to my attention.
CoolToyReview.comhas gotten word from a ‘reliable source’ (grain of salt recommended) for the lineup for the next wave of Marvel Legends. Curiously, the listing also shows UPC numbers. The wave will consist of the following:
Adam Warlock (UPC # 65356931894)
Black-suit Spider-man (UPC # 65356931891)
Silver Savage (UPC # 65356931893 – Silver Surfer from the Planet Hulk storyline)
Spiral (UPC # 65356931895)
USAgent (UPC # 65356931890)
Union Jack (UPC # 65356931892)
And it appears that they have wildly guessed on the Build-A-Figure for the wave so I won’t even mention what it was.
I am ecstatic about a Spiral figure, assuming its done right, but rather apathetic to the rest of the wave. I’m still waiting on a Nimrod Build-A-Figure. Make it happen Hasbro!
Several sitesare reporting rumors that there is a high potential for at least two Hulk waves of Marvel Legends figures. It sounds similar to the forthcoming Spider-man 3 and Fantastic Four waves that are actually not part of the main Marvel Legends line, but will be complementary to it. Pictures have surfaced of the purported first wave along with a lineup of the second wave.
Wave 1:
King Hulk (from Planet Hulk)
Son of Hulk
Doc Samson
Red King
Valkyrie
Ed McGuiness Hulk
Wave 2:
Wendigo
Absorbing Man
Bi-Beast
Classic She-Hulk
Grey Hulk
Hulk: The End
Looking at the pictures, the figures look pretty decent with Marvel Legends style articulation. As far as the lineup goes, I would have much preferred to see more of the Hulk’s warbound from Planet Hulk/World War Hulk than multiple versions of the Hulk himself. Also in the rumor mill is a Build A Figure of Fin Fang Foom for one of these waves. Keep in mind though, neither of these waves have ever been confirmed or announced. I know I’ve heard this rumor before though and I’m pretty sure I’ve, at the very least, seen that Doc Samson picture before.
