Don’t let the novelty of the song get to you in the beginning, the video gets disturbing later on.

As a massive promotion for The Simpsons Movie this summer, 7-11 has agreed to full convert 11 of its stores in the US into replicas of the infamous Kwik-E-Mart.
MTV Reports a 7-11 spokesperson refused to confirm or deny, but apparently it was revealed in a company event last week. The stores will take on the appearance of Kwik-E-Mart, serve Squishies and other popular Simpsons food. I can only pray this happens and I can get a Duff Beer. Or an appearance from Duff Man!
Thanks Robbie!

The video game crossover you’ve waited your entire life for is now a reality.
Mario and Sonic will finally compete on the Wii and Nintendo DS… on a game licensed by the Olympics.
I’m speechless. Official site is up. If we don’t get Sonic in Smash Bros now, I’ll be real mad.

The worst kept secret in gaming is now official.

Black extra controllers, battery packs, and charging cables will be available at the same price as the current white accessories. The store that offers you $10 for a game they’ll sell for $40. The store that asks you buy a strategy guide and a subscription to GameInformer with every purchase. The store that berates you for not pre-ordering.
They took in $5 Billion last year.
I want you to think about that the next time that pimply pencilneck clerk tries to sell you an opened game at full price.

Back in September I said the next LEGO game and the next Batman game were going to be one and the same.
Today the news is official. Warner Bros Interactive will publish and Traveller’s Tales will develop LEGO Batman for all consoles and PC.
Thankfully, they promise to maintain some of the elements that made LEGO Star Wars great, namely the co-op multiplayer as Batman and Robin, along with Free Play using unlocked secret characters. At last, The Joker will be playable in a video game!
Full Press Release follows. [Read the rest of this entry…]

I’ll tell you what. I liked 28 Days Later. I refuse to enter the zombies or not zombies debate, but that was a cool movie. Now comes 28 Weeks Later, which takes place… a while afterward. Movie opens May 11, so you’ve got something to watch the weekend between Spiderman and Pirates.
The sequel is an entirely different cast and crew, so this might well be rubbish. I do see Harold Perrineau is in the cast. What a rough break. He finally gets off that damn island and he has to put up with the infected…

Along with a story in USA Today, 2 new Transformers 2007 Movie posters have been released to the internet. These new one-sheet posters should be in theaters soon. One features the word “Protect” and the profile of Optimus Prime, the other “Destroy” and the profile of Megatron.
Also of note: The Transformers Myspace, where you can choose to befriend the Autobots or Decepticons.
Why anyone would want to befriend the robots with contempt for our race is beyond me. I mean, thats a pretty abusive relationship you’re jumping in to. People on Myspace are bad enough as it is.
