The Amazon Gold Box Deal of the Day features both the DVD and Blu-Ray edition of the Transformers trilogy of movies today. They have been marked down significantly. The DVD edition has been marked down to 17.99 from 40.99 and the Blu-Ray edition has been marked down to 29.99 from 76.99. I believe a newer edition of the trilogy will be forthcoming with lots of extras not inlcuded in these sets, but this price is pretty hard to ignore. If you want to help our site and get a great deal at the same time, use the links below to purchase these sets!
The trilogy includes:
Transformers
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
Transformers: Dark of the Moon
[UPDATE] I added in the 7 disc collectors set that is both Blu-Ray and DVD because it is also $60 off.
Crass humor is nothing new to the Live Action Transformers universe. So it is in this spirit that I present new images of the Target Exclusive deluxe Leadfoot action figure.
These three images were taken from an ebay auction, as the figure has not yet been released.
Leadfoot’s alternate mode is the #42 Target Racer from NASCAR, which like all vehicles features multiple sponsors. Leadfoot’s robot appearance features a prominent ‘belly’ making him the fattest Transformers character since Grand Convoy. It is fitting then that his rear panels have logos for Cottonelle (toilet paper) and Tums (antacid). He may fuel up on Energon, but I’ll be he also has a lot of gas.
The first DLC character for Transformers: Dark of the Moon is now available. Sideswipe is available for 80 spacebucks, which by my estimate is roughly a dollar. The PS3 version is similarly 99 cents. You know what I have to say to that?
Here are some screenshots of what this character looks like:

Here’s a picture of Bumblebee holding a sign that says “Transformers 3 wishes China’s Communist Party longevity” in Chinese.
Why is this happening? This all ties in to the film Beginning of the Great Revival, which retells the story of the founding of China’s Communist Party. The Chinese Government obviously wants people to see this, and they achieve this goal by eliminating the competition! Transformers 3’s release was postponed in China in order to allow people to experience this wonderful piece of propaganda without having to be distracted by something they might actually want to do.
Despite this effort to separate people from their freedom of choice in movies, some still wish to see entertaining films. Some theatres have gone so far as to just sell people tickets to this movie regardless of what they actually attend, to ensure the bookkeeping shows it to be a great success.
Freedom, it would seem, is not the right of all sentient beings…
Michael Bay delivers his ultimate Transformers movie. Beyond good, beyond evil, beyond your comprehension! We spend the first half of the show digging into the little things and broad points about the movie and the second part of the show talking specific plot points and spoilers. Discussion of toys, games, and comics will follow in a supplement later this week!
