At Botcon 2012 I managed to find an actual female in an event that was not at all staged. I wasn’t the only one on the prowl, as Ravage the Insult Comic Bot was also looking for the line for the ladies.
If you like the comic stylings of Ravage the Insult Comic Bot check out his YouTube channel and visit Jon Bailey’s web site. Thanks Jon for this unexpected comedic outbreak.
We have more Botcon clips, articles and our podcast to come so keep checking in for more in the coming days.

Here’s Caren asking some hard hitting questions we’re all burning to know the answers to at this year’s Botcon as she investigates Starscream themed Body Pillows and My Little Pony merchandise.

We’ve got more Botcon content to come to keep checking out Powet.tv as we get all of this stuff posted.

Developed by Daisuke “Pixel” Amaya over a period of 5 years, Cave Story is a throwback to classic 8-bit platformers like Metroid and Castlevania. Taking control of your typical silent hero, you explore a cave. By collecting weapons and powerups, you become stronger. The game’s storyline centers around a race of creatures that are apparently being subjugated. Although the game has been available as freeware since 2004, there are WiiWare and Steam versions of the game that add new gameplay features. A 3DS version is also available, but its $40 price tag is hard to justify with cheaper versions of the game available. However you get to play this game, please do so, as it is an excellent reminder of gaming’s glory age.

Commercials for the Hub’s new series Care Bears: Welcome to Care-A-Lot have been running on the network for a few weeks now. The trailer, seen below, and some of the promotional images that we’ve gotten from the Hub give us a good idea of how the show will look. On top of the Care Bear cast of the show is a human girl character who is not named, as well as a new Care Bear who has no “belly-badge” at some moments. According to information from Parade Magazine, this new character is named Wonderheart Bear.
The show is set to begin airing in a month with the premiere episode playing on Saturday June 2nd at 8am. Well have more information on this show as we learn it. For now, what do you think of the trailer? Does the show look like it will be worth watching?

Keep reading for more promotional art and screenshots from the trailer.

This weekend movie theaters everywhere will be running the trailer for the final act of Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy, The Dark Knight Rises. The trailer is intended to play before screenings of The Avengers, so if you’re out for one of the biggest comic adaptations of the year, you’ll get a taste of the other.
But as you can see by this post, Warner Bros has graciously gone ahead and posted the trailer online for us to watch on our computer monitors and cell phones. I haven’t watched it yet, trying to save it for the theater. If I crack today and look at it, I’ll post in the comments all my thoughts and reactions.
