Fwooshnet.com had an opportunity to ask Jesse Falcon of Toy Biz 10 questions mostly dealing with the Marvel Legends Wal-Mart Exclusive Giant-Man wave. Some of the questions are very good and a couple have nothing to do with anything. I’m not sure if the scarcity has been as much of an issue as it has been here for us at powet.tv, but it would have been nice to see a question about why the wave has been in such poor supply.

The Four Horsemen have revealed the five retooled minotaur figures that are being offered as exclusives from several different toy websites. All five of the figures will be available for pre-order on July 20th, 2006 for US$20 each at the following websites:

Hey, wheres Green Lantern?

Botcon.com has revealed the third figure in their exclusive set for this year’s convention, Cheetor. Cheetor appears as a repaint of Cybertron Clocker. He is sporting a brand new head sculpt and color scheme that matches the 10th anniversary figure currently available in stores.

  

Nintendo Monopoly prototype pictures have shown up on Press The Buttons showcasing some of the properties and game pieces.
You’ll get to move around the board as a DK Barrel, Link’s Shield, an NES controller, a Koopa shell or even Mario’s hat! Properties appear to be representating Nintendo characters. Mario replaces Boardwalk, Waluigi lands on Mediterranean Ave, while Zelda, Ganondorf, Meta Knight, Piranha Plants and Warp Stars can all be seen in the shots.
This will be better than Mario Party! Or at least longer.

The official site has also been updated with a countdown until the teaser trailer hits theaters.

Superhero Hype also reports today and tomorrow Transformers will be Shooting at the Hoover Dam, which many are speculating will be a homage to the classic Prime/Megatron fight in the second episode of the original Transformers series (pictured at right).
Also, some more set pictures have surfaced on flikr, documenting what appears to be a chase scene.

As previously reported, Marvel Ultimate Alliance is coming in Fall 2006 for the next gen consoles. We also mentioned that there was a trailer out. I managed to find it on YouTube and embedded it below.

The Marvel Ultimate Alliance site has also put up a contest for auditions. The winners will have their voice talents featured as Jean Grey and Bruce Banner in the game itself among other prizes.

Director Masashiro Sakurai revealed to a french gaming site that 1-2 non-Nintendo characters will be included in the new Wii version of Super Smash Brothers.
In addition, Bowser Jr, Wind Waker Link, and Ridley from the Metroid series are now confirmed fighters. He also confirmed Samus Aran and Zero Suit Samus are different characters.
In subtraction, The Ice Climbers, Mr. Game & Watch, and Young Link won’t make the cut Brawl. Young Link is obviously replaced by the “Celda” Link.
Sakurai also mentions he wants a roster of about 40 characters, so with 14 confirmed characters from the announce trailer and today’s news, theres still a LOT room for new and returning characters. If I were a betting man, I’d be placing chips on Pac-Man and Sonic…
