Public Enemies Trailer Released

Its been a year since I went on set with Depp, but Public Enemies will finally release on July 1, 2009. The story of John Dillinger now also has a trailer , view it above or watch in HD on Apple
Of course my cameo isn’t in the trailer, but the day I spent filming, Depp was dressed in the same costume you see him wearing in the trailer in the jail cell. The movie looks pretty good, being directed by Michael Mann, so at least I can be sure my first movie isn’t a stinker.

Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen Teaser

This past weekend, those that braved the theatrical remake of Friday The 13th got a peak at the full 2 minute teaser for the anticipated Tranformers sequel. Now Yahoo has the video online for view in High Definition.

Also at the Chicago Auto Show, Director Michael Bay delivered an additional 90 second video focused on the Chevy Autobots.

I’m On A Boat

Warning: the following video is NOT safe for work!

The Lonely Island released their first CD this week, and I considered doing a review to tell you all how funny it is, but I’m afraid my review would be me repeating lines and laughing for 5 minutes.
So with that in mind, watch the above video and then buy the CD.

Big Game: The Movie Trailers

An annual tradition in the United States is being held tonight. You see, all the big marketing geniuses make commercials for their new products, and in between those commercials there is an American football game.
Movie studios are now pulling out the big guns, and a lot of their teasers are already online.

UPDATE: Many of these ads have been pulled from youtube, but you can see them all on Hulu.com/superbowl as they air in the game, or using the viewer below!

Apologies to international readers, Hulu only works in the States. Transformersmovie.com has TF2, and Coming soon has GI JOE.

Powet Toys: GI Joe Ultimate Battle Pack

What Do Lonzo Wilkinson and Laird James McCullen XXIV have in common? They’re both trapped inside the giant plastic prison that is the GI Joe Ultimate Battle Pack. I literally chop open the box to show you whats inside.

Transformers 2: First Official Toy Images of Soundwave and Bumblebee

Empire Online has the dramatic first look at the Transformers Revenge Of The Fallen toy line with the two preview figures to be released in May.
Bumblebee has been revamped from the first movie with a new head, some new paint details and the car mode has been altered to more greatly resemble the production version of the Camaro.
Soundwave is of course a brand new toy, showing his Cybertronian form, not unlike the 2007 preview toys. What other form he might take in the movie remains a mystery.

Mickey Rourke Heading To Wrestlemania

Ladies and Gentlemen of the Academy, for your consideration of Best Actor In a Motion Picture and In a Wrestling Ring, I reccomend Mickey Rourke.

After a command performance as over-the-hill wrestler Randy The Ram in Darren Aronofsky’s The Wrestler, he’s apparently going to keep the act up. Vince McMahon has invited Rourke to compete in Wrestlemania 25 on April 5. He announced such on the red carpet at the SAG awards Sunday night, see video here.

I really loved The Wrestler and thought Mickey was great inhabiting that character, so flawed but immediately likable. The very fact that he’ll be taking The Ram into the ring against Chris Jericho proves he deserves that Oscar more than anyone else in the category. Is Sean Penn going to keep doing speeches in character as Harvey Milk? Is Frank Langella going to keep talking like Nixon? Is Brad Pitt going to get progressively younger? NO! Mickey Rourke runs this.
