This week we talk a bit about the homebrew Famicom/NES scene, and Vinnk reveals some info about a program to bring $10 computers to countries that can’t afford machines like One Laptop Per Child.
Show notes:
We actually had another “filler” episode lined up since we were going to No Brand Con this last weekend, however after our panel on Saturday we decided to pull it in favor of this new one. Sorry the episode is late, but I hope you agree it as worth it!
The program for making cheap computers that Vinnk was talking about is the Playpower Foundation. There’s a full write-up on its mission at ETech. Pretty cool, right?
