It’s not easy being green in the entertainment industry, yet suddenly everyone is trying it. We talk about how video game sequels are superior to other kinds of sequels, specifically the sequel-du-jour Mass Effect 2
The magical developers of the insane animated adventures Alien Hominid and Castle Crashers have unveiled their next game bound for Xbox Live Arcade.
The Behemoth call it “A story about friendship, betrayal, and a whole truck load of cats” and give it the title BattleBlock Theater.
Having made the craziest side scrolling shooter and the craziest 4 player brawler they now turn to platform action. Hopefully it will arrive in time for summer so we can enjoy air conditioned online fun as we did the last 2 summers with their games.
What, you don’t have their first two games? Get off your butt!

This video has a lot of the same footage from the Transformers War For Cybertron Teaser Video, but includes voiceover from Peter Cullen as Optimus Prime. Its not Frank Welker as Megatron though, unclear if he’s still yet to be cast or if they’re going with another actor.
You’ll identify a lot more characters, including Bumblebee and Trypticon.
In related news, is Hasbro prepping a full line of War For Cybertron Toys? They’ve definitely made a deluxe Prime! Still no announcement where the series will go in 2010, this might be “filler” material until the next cartoon or movie is released.
The full feature on the newest Transformer game will be included in Game Informer magazine on December 14, but a short teaser video has already been posted.

Game Informer has a TF mini-site where new information about the game will be posted all this month.

Former 1UP and current Game Informer writer Phil Kollar has been teasing his big cover story for the magazine on twitter lately, and he just fessed up some details: “Yes, it’s a new Transformers game.”
Xbox 360, PS3, and PC versions of the game are on the way, tenatively titled “The War For Cybertron”
Artwork from the magazine (left) shows Optimus Prime, and theres a hearty influence of The War Within, as action will be set before our favorite transforming robots arrive on Earth.
TheAllspark broke the story earlier this evening, but Kollar says images and a trailer will be online later this week. Look for the issue of Game Informer at GameStop very soon.
