According to SlashFilm, at the very end of the DC panel, Zack Snyder took over to make an announcement about a Man of Steel sequel:
I’m gonna take the lectern from you, because some shit’s going to happen up here.
It’s official that we are going to make another Superman movie. And you say, Zack, what is the movie about? But you don’t want me to tell you that. You want to go and see the movie. But I can say that maybe there’s a single element that will be in the film that I could… help you out with. I was thinking about how to do that. I pored through the DC Universe to look for a way to tell this thing. We’re writing the thing now, but I came across a thing I found that’ll help you understand it.
The image in the banner came on screen and a voiceover was done:
I want you to remember, Clark, in all the years to come, in all your most private moments, I want you to remember your hand at your throat. I want you to remember the one man who beat you.
This line comes from the end of Frank Miller’s The Dark Knight Returns. Snyder made it very clear that this will not be a direct adaptation, but will instead be used to help form a new story based on many cues from the source. Henry Cavill and the cast from Man of Steel are slated to reprise their roles, while the part of Batman has not yet been cast.
The opening cinematic for DC Entertainment’s INJUSTICE: Gods Among Us game has been revealed courtesy of GameStop’s youtube channel. INJUSTICE is scheduled for release on April 16th, just three days away.

Toy Fair 2013 has come and gone. As a gigantic snowstorm descended on the northeastern United States, a hurricane of toy news was felt all over the internet. There were so many great announcements and revelations during the show, its hard to put it all in perspective. Lets give it a shot anyway! Here’s a Powet Top 5 list of what I thought were some of the most impressive reveals of Toy Fair 2013.
Over the past few days leading up to New York Toy Fair (NYTF) 2013, Mattel has teased us with some reveals for a 6 inch action figure line based on the 60’s Batman series featuring Adam West as Batman. The figures are not just based on the series, but actually use the likenesses of the actors, which makes for a compelling sell. Also, there’s a Batmobile. Aww yeeeeaah.
The line will reportedly be released in July 2013 with figures retailing for US$14.99 and the Batmobile for the rather small sum of US$49.99. Let’s just hope the assumption that the Batmobile is in scale with the figures holds. I wouldn’t take anything for granted.
Join us after the jump for a look at each of the figures! We will update this post as more figures are revealed. We still expect to see Burt Ward’s Robin, Julie Newmar’s Catwoman and Cesar Romero’s Joker.
Batman and the Batmobile came from USAToday
Riddler and Penguin came from Entertainment Earth

The excellent Ni No Kuni, one of many awesome titles that has been or will be released this year.
If you’re reading this, then you already know that the world didn’t end back in December (f course if you were smart, you knew it wasn’t gonna end anyway). That’s a very good thing. Not only do you get to stay alive a lot longer, but there are some very awesome things coming this year. Several new gadgets and gizmos are hitting the block for gamers (including the PS4 and Xbox 720 is rumors hold true), several awesome movies are hitting theaters, and most importantly, several new games are coming out within these next twelve months. This past January has seen the release of the Devil May Cry reboot and the sure-to-be classic JRPG Ni No Kuni, but there are even more awesome titles hitting systems this year. Here are just 5 of the most anticipated.
A new trailer has surfaced for DC Entertainment’s new game INJUSTICE: Gods Among Us. This game is being done by Netherrealm, the same studio behind Mortal Kombat. This fighter features some of DC’s most well known characters including Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Green Lantern, Lex Luthor and many many more. This trailer gives us a little more insight into the story of the game. It has a very Crime Syndicate feel to it where all the heroes are more or less villains. The game will be coming out on April, 16th 2013.

Zac wrangles and all star cast including Jim from Not Safe for Watercoolers, Adam from The Reality Check, and Sean from Famicom Dojo. We’ll discuss Bane, Alfred, Lucius Fox, John Blake, Selina Kyle, and the overflowing cast of The Dark Knight Rises. There is a lot of plot and a lot of holes, but that doesn’t mean we don’t talk about what we liked and loved about the movie too!
