The new Guardians of the Galaxy trailer is upon us and sure packs a punch. We see lots of new things in here. First, we revisit Korath, the Pursuer confronting Peter Quill as he tries to steal some orb object. Among the things that follow are Starlord’s ship, Ronan the Accuser (who apparently has more than just a cameo in this movie), a little more of Nova Prime (Glenn Close) and the Nova Corps, Rocket Raccoon speaking, Knowhere (the disembodied head of a Celestial converted into a space port), a glimpse of a fight between Nebula and Gamora, Groot (Vin Diesel) speaking his notable catchphrase and finally, lest we forget, Rocket Raccoon adjusting himself.

Count all of these among the things I thought I would never see in a movie theater.

Guardians of the Galaxy will be rocking your world starting August 1st, 2014!

News has broken that H.R. Giger has passed away due to injuries sustained from a fall. Giger is best known for his work in the feature film Alien, for which, he won an Oscar. He also worked on Aliens 3 (1992), Species (1995) and Poltergeist 2 (1986). His work was not limited to movies, though. He also contributed to video games, worked on sculptures, paintings and even furniture.

Hot on the heals of the Community cancellation announcement, NBC has released a trailer for their upcoming Constantine series. The series is based on the Hellblazer comics from DC and follows John Constantine, a paranormal detective of sorts. Constantine will be coming to NBC on Fridays this fall.
