Added Content is not something you find much in video games any more. Long gone are the days of Infocom’s "feelies", but great text adventure classics like Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy had some of the most creative in the business. Vinnk and Sean followup on their "DLC podcast" promise by adding episode content from listener requests! Guest panelist Sindra joins Sean to review the Silent Hill movie, while Vinnk reminisces about the days of hint lines, program books, and peril-sensitive sunglasses.

Great podcast guys, and not for the obvious reason.
I really dug the take on Silent Hill. It’s one of my favorite series, and I tried, really I did to like the movie, but it’s hard. Still one of the best video game movies I’ve ever seen.
I enjoyed the old school Infocom stuff.
Which reminds me. Have either of you guys read Ready Player One by Ernest Cline? That book was right up my alley. You guys should enjoy it as well.

A friend bought it for me last Christmas because he was tired of me not buying the damn thing. I just finished it up a few days ago. The book made me want to play Zork, listen to Rush, and watch Monty Python simultaneously while wearing a Member’s Only jacket.

I originally tried to play it cool like, “Oh he’s just pandering. He rattles off everything 80’s, and I’m supposed to be excited?” Then, I decided I was being a douché. So I embraced it. What a wonderful read.
I’ll check out Master’s of Doom. Sounds like it’s full of……doom.
