GI Joe collectors will be gathering this weekend, August 13-16th in Kansas City, MO to celebrate, among other things, the new GI Joe: Rise of Cobra movie. Sure to be a huge boon to the franchise, the movie will be a topic of great discussion at this year’s convention. And what Joe convention is complete without exclusives?

Read on for a look at whats to come!

The first set revealed are none other than the Crimson Strike Team Commanders, Tomax and Xamot. Decked out in red, each comes with a stand and two guns. Don’t quiz me on which one has the facial scar because I could never keep that straight as a kid, but one of them does have it.

Next, we have the Baroness. She appears to come with her stand and two guns. She sports the same red color scheme as Tomax and Xamot and features some spiffy gold spectacles. Continuing the red/crimson theme of the set, we also have a Cobra Viper featuring a vac-metal faceplate and revised straight wrists. The Viper appears to come with two guns and another stand. There will, in fact, be twelve vipers included in the 3 3/4 inch box set as seen below.

The two GI Joe exclusives from SDCC will be available for sale as well with slight differences. The 12inch Baroness figure will feature a Crimson version of the propaganda style poster included with the figure.

The Destro 2-pack Book will also be available for sale in limited quantities.

Finally we have the Para-drop figure. This year a Crimson Guards will be thrown off the roof of a 40+ story hotel, where they will parachute down to invade Kansas City to the delight of fans below.

This guard comes armed to the teeth with plenty of munitions and a very nice carrying bag for all of his weapons.
