Awesome review Sindra.
I always loved Legend of Kage. I bought an arcade anthology for the PS2 so I could try the arcarde version. This game looks so similar I’ll have to check out the used game stores in town and see if I can find a copy.
Also, I always pronounced it like you do but a guy I work with pointed out that the Japanese would likely pronounce it “Kah-gay” and not “cage” which makes sense, though it’s not something I could ever get used to…

I have that game and it’s pretty fun, though I haven’t completed it yet. Has some elements very similar to the original.

This was one of my all time favorite games when I was a kid. Also one of the first games I ever beat. I spent forever upgrading my throwing stars and life to the max. Really good memories.
