Hasbro Marvel Legends Wave 2

Fwooshnet has gotten some pictures fresh from Hong Kong of the second wave from Hasbro’s Marvel Legends series. If you click on any of the images at that link, you will be brought to the gallery. The wave consists of eight figures, each coming with a piece to the Build-A-Figure for this wave, The Blob.

She-Hulk (Upper Torso)
Asgardian Armor Thor (Head)
Ultimate Wolverine (Lower Torso)
Yellowjacket (Right Leg)
Quicksilver (Left Arm)
Xorn/Magneto (Left Leg)
X3 Jean Grey (Right Arm)
X3 Juggernaut (Hands)

Variants for this wave are supposed to include:

Green Quicksilver
X3 Dark Phoenix
Yellowjacket (there is only a slight coloring difference here. see below.)

So far I’d say Toy Biz, but I like some of the things on the horizon coming from Hasbro. Some of the stuff that Toy Biz will be really hard to top though. The Sentinel BAF and figures like Juggernaut and colossus come to mind.

The one weak point for Toy Biz was female figures. Hasbro’s first attempt, Emma Frost was even worse. I think the Wasp variant and Kitty Pryde might be the best from Toy Biz. I very much look forward to She-Hulk from Hasbro though.

Basically, we just haven’t seen enough from Hasbro yet.

Have seen you seen the human torch and silver surfer icons from hasbro yet? They are amazingly detailed. I am definately picking it up when it comes out. Look up pics of them on the web. Guarantee that you will like them.
