The official site has also been updated with a countdown until the teaser trailer hits theaters.

More_Than_Meets_the_Eye_(Part_2).JPGSuperhero Hype also reports today and tomorrow Transformers will be Shooting at the Hoover Dam, which many are speculating will be a homage to the classic Prime/Megatron fight in the second episode of the original Transformers series (pictured at right).
Also, some more set pictures have surfaced on flikr, documenting what appears to be a chase scene.

Transformers The Movie: 20th Anniversary Edition announced.

tftm20.JPGSony BMG has acquired the rights to release cult favorite Transformers The Movie on DVD.
Details are scarce but they do promise “never-before-seen footage, exclusive interviews, interactive games and collectible packaging” so one can only assume they’re going to try one-up the old Rhino release from 2001, which like the entire 84-87 series is currently out-of-print.

Fan demands have been high for a more in-depth DVD release, and hopefully this one fits the bill.

Full press release and promo image after the jump…
