This year, the Tranformers Club Comic takes a trip back into the strange world of Shattered Glass. Before jumping back in, let’s take a look at some of the best Shattered Glass characters we’ve seen in toy form so far! Â
It was first revealed in the Transformers Collector Club Roundtable panel at Botcon 2012, that the Club would be putting together a Figure Subscription Service (FSS). Largely seen as a shot across the bow of MattyCollector.com, the subscription will feature six figures shipped out over the course of a year.
Here are some of the details:
You have to be a member to subscribe.
This is built to order. No limits on quantities. However much is ordered will be made.
The ordering period will end on September 10th at midnight.
You can pay in full ($282) or in three installments ($94) plus shipping and service fee.
Items will be shipped in random order. Everyone will receive the same figure each month.
If credit card or address changes, you change it on your club account only. Change will effect everything else.
Some extra figures may go up in the club store after shipment at a higher price point. Availability not guaranteed.
The figures included in the subscription are:
Transformers Animated Jackpot
Transformers Prime Slipstream
Transformers Generations Circuit
Transformers Generations G1 Breakdown
Transformers Generations RID Scourge
Transformers Beast Wars Neo Ultra Mammoth

It’s a podcast for your eyes! We don’t often get a chance to do our shows in person, so when we do it’s nice to put together a little video. So here is the super elite behind the scenes recording of the Powetcast 118 “Put Your Doors On”, our live show from Botcon 2012. I’ve throw in some photos and clips I had handy when relevant.
The location for Botcon 2012 has been announced and its going back to Texas. Next year’s Botcon will take place in Dallas from April 26 to 29th. The main hotel will be the Hyatt Regency Dallas. As quickly as we are getting this information to you, though, it sounds like Sunday is already selling out. Book your hotel quickly! We’ve got ours and we hope to see you there!
The Transformers Collectors’ Club revealed the first club exclusive figure for 2012; Runabout. Runabout is the partner of Runamuck, the club’s 2012 free membership exclusive. If you sign up to be a member by March 16th, 2012, you automatically get Runamuch for free as part of your membership. You also have the option to buy two other figures as a member of the club. Today’s announcement is the first of those two figures. Runabout will be put up as a preorder sometime in the Spring along with another as yet to be revealed figure.
The Tranformers Collectors Club has revealed their exclusive membership figure for 2012 and it is none other than Runamuck. Their website revealed the robot and alt modes for the figure, while the head turnaround image was posted to their twitter account. The club’s facebook page had the reveal for the actual head sample. Runamuck’s partner, Runabout, will most likely be one of the two club exclusive figures for 2012 like this year’s Animated Cheetor and G2 Ramjet.
I must say the club has guaranteed a membership renewal from me. This figure looks fantastic. I inquired further on Twitter and confirmed that the head turnaround was done by Dan Khanna. If you want this figure you will need to renew your club membership by March 16th 2012. Any renewals after that time will guarantee you the figure for 2013.
