ToyArk.com is apparently wandering the hall at SDCC a little early and managed to snag a picture of the first wave of Marvel Legends after their multi-year hiatus.
It is with great pleasure I can tell you the wave consists of:
Klaw
Constrictor
Steve Rogers
Thor
Extremis Armor Thor
Hope Summers
Ghost Rider (I have no idea what version this is. New to me. Movie?)
and the previously announced Build-A-Figure; Terrax.
So we have 2 villains, a movie figure, an X-Man and the Avengers core team to round out the first wave. Seems pretty well balanced to me.
I am really loving these shorts. Hasbro’s KRE-O construction block brand has put up another video on youtube. This time its a talent show spoof done in stop motion animation. Enjoy!

MattyCollector.com updated their news page with some news that there will be a Voltron line coming to MattyCollector.com in 2012. It will be based on the classic 80’s series. A subscription to the line will be made available in the same fashion as the Ghostbusters (Club Ecto) and MOTU (Club Eternia) subscriptions. The new subscription will be called Club Lion Force and will include an exclusive figure for subscribers.
The update also mentioned that all subscriptions ordered at the same time, no matter the combination of lines, will all be able to have their shipping charges combined. Additional announcements and details will be made at SDCC 2012 later this summer.

The first table I walked up to on Friday had these two figures sitting on it in plastic bags. Top Spin came with his chrome weapon and was marked $3, while Twin Twist included his chrome weapon, instruction booklet and tech spec. Twin Twist was marked $5. Both figures seemed to be in pretty good shape. I picked them both up and handed the dealer exact change.
Transformers Vault went on sale today. Don’t know what that is? Well, its a book that Hasbro has been teasing us about for almost a year now. With some exclusive access to some Hasbro resources that have not yet seen the light of day, the book is sure to be a must-find for Transformers fans. Don’t believe me? Check out the video above and click the link to buy and help the site out at the same time!
It was stated that MP-01L would be the final edition and use of the Masterpiece Prime mold. Shortly afterward, a new Transformers Masterpiece Optimus Prime figure was announced in Japan, but it would not be the same mold. As it turns out, some pictures have surfaced and it looks like this edition (MP-10) will be in-scale with the all of the rest of the Masterpiece line addressing the most common complaint and sole shortcoming of the previous mold. Not only that, but the figure will come with trailer, Roller, Energon Axe, transforming gun and an in-scale driver in the form of Spike Witwicky.
Pocket Power was available at retail in 1988 to 1989. The sets were made by Sega, but distributed by Tyco Toys (who were later absorbed by Mattel) in the United States. Pocket Power was the type of toy line that you could find both in your major toy retailer, like Child World, or even in your local pharmacy’s toy aisle. Pricing ranged from about US$4 to US$5 making it a fairly affordable purchase. The wide availability and reasonable pricing made this toy fairly popular for a brief period and that is why today P is for Pocket Power.
