Today we take a look at the Voyager Class Bulkhead figure from Transformers Animated. I managed to pick him up at Botcon and barely put him down since.
I am happy to say that I have resolved my video editing issues and have this video to share with you all. I do have to say that I really like these new Animated figures. It will be important to note when transforming Starscream back to jet mode that his automorph feature doesn’t work as well as it as it does going to robot mode. It will be most helpful to remember what his underside looks like as I point out in the video.
More videos to come! Especially these Animated figures. Hope your enjoying them as much as I am.
I know what you’re thinking. Botcon was weeks ago. We know everything already. Well, do you? I always found it hard to keep track of what news flowed out of Botcon because every site had a different post for each comment, picture and mention of something new. I have put together one big brain dump of every note I took during the convention with some pictures and links to more pictures and some design notes on Transformers.com. If you have any further comments, questions, or praise for the upcoming products, feel free to leave a message as a comment to this post.
Also, you can see more photos from the convention in my personal galleries here.
Zac posted a listing of some of the various galleries from this year’s ToyFair in New York. This is one of the big events each year where toy companies like to reveal new product offerings for the coming year. Many rumors are confirmed. Others are quashed. Every once in a while there is also a pleasant surprise. Lets take a deeper look at what this year has to offer toy collectors .

With agents all over the world, its kind of amazing no one from Powet.TV lives in New York City. So unfortunately, we miss going to Toy Fair. But so many sites are getting good photos up, we’ll just use this space to link to them all.
And you can use the comments section to add more links you may find or discuss what you love and hate about whats revealed this year. ActionFigure.com covers some specialty figures. TFW2005 has extensive Hasbro coverage ASM will be getting more photos through tomorrow of everything! Toy News International has lots of pictures, and a huge focus on Marvel comics toys! Wizard Universe has press and site photos
Any other sites you know with photos? Been there yourself? Leave a comment and we’ll keep Powet up to date.

While certainly not the fanfare that trailers for the Transformers movie had, a new clip of the animated series is welcome. We hear a little bit of David Kaye as Optimus Prime and Corey Burton as Megatron. Kaye is unlike any Prime we’ve had before and Megatron… we’ll he’s actually pretty darn close to the movie Megatron, right down to demanding The Allspark.
TFW2005 points us to this auction. Up for auction is a pre-production mock up of Transformers Animated Prowl in packaging. A disclaimer on the package reads:
This is a pre-production sample package. This sample package is for illustration only. Size and design may vary slightly.
While keeping that in mind, the packaging looks remarkably similar to the same size and, for the most part, coloring of the packaging from Transformers Cybertron. The shape of the packaging more closely resembles the Transformers Classics packaging with the more box-like bubble containing the figure itself.
Here are samples from Cybertron (white) and Classics (red):
