Looks like more content is on the way for MK 11. Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath is releasing later this month, bringing new features, new single player content, and new characters. The trailer is above, and you can see details on what’s coming below. Spoiler Alert: The above takes place after the end of MK 11’s story mode, so if you haven’t completed it yet, you might want to do so now before going any further. [Read the rest of this entry…]

Along with Superman/Batman, Freddy vs Jason, and Alien vs Predator, Robocop vs Terminator was one of several movie mega-crossovers that were brainstormed during the 90s. Of those four, only AvP and FvJ ended up seeing movie releases while Robocop vs Terminator ended up being a comic book limited series. There were two games loosely based upon the comic, one for Sega, another for Super Nintendo. While the Sega version was known for its blood, the SNES version was known for it’s music and moody atmosphere. [Read the rest of this entry…]
Welcome to the Powet Top 5, where we explore the top (and bottom) 5 items we think are relevant to any of a variety of topics that span the imagination. Sit back, read, and respond.
Toy Fair 2013 has come and gone. As a gigantic snowstorm descended on the northeastern United States, a hurricane of toy news was felt all over the internet. There were so many great announcements and revelations during the show, its hard to put it all in perspective. Lets give it a shot anyway! Here’s a Powet Top 5 list of what I thought were some of the most impressive reveals of Toy Fair 2013.
Sometimes a meme gets by the best of us. We can live on the internet and not see it until an elderly relative likes it on facebook in front of us.
This week we talk Finding Nemo, Cabin In The Woods, and Seth MacFarlane on SNL. In the news we’ll talk Robocop, the Wii U, why Canada’s internet sucks, and finding ourselves on the brink of war with Iran. Also: Gangnam style, Pikachu, and The Green Ranger.
This is a much better episode than last week.
It’s the clash of two completely unrelated sci fi franchises as Robocop himself, Peter Weller, join the cast of Star Trek for J.J. Abrams’ sequel to the 2009 reboot and theatrical hit! Peter Weller was in a few of the last episodes of Star Trek Enterprise, though that will surely have nothing to do with his role in this film.
Also announced to join the cast a few days ago was Alice Eve. She’s pretty, and I haven’t seen her in a thing because she hasn’t played a cyborg in any movies… yet! To learn more about her try 10 seconds doing a google image search with safe search off.
The first DLC character for Transformers: Dark of the Moon is now available. Sideswipe is available for 80 spacebucks, which by my estimate is roughly a dollar. The PS3 version is similarly 99 cents. You know what I have to say to that?
Here are some screenshots of what this character looks like:
