Check out this ad for the Transformers Animated DS game that just popped in my mail box.
Notice anything fishy?
Yeah, I know this game is OUT, why is Activision sending me an email now?
But seriously, they’re hyping Revenge Of The Fallen in the lower right corner there. And since this is an Activision ad, chances are its not for the movie. Its for the tie in game.
I seriously, seriously hope they do a better job than the last time around.

The trailer showed up over the weekend in front of the latest 007 film, but those that want to see it again or missed it in theaters can watch it on Apple’s movie trailer site
Doesn’t look like any of the usual video sites are hosting a good quality embedded version, but the link above will get you HD versions of the trailer.
Now I love Star Trek — LOVE IT. But this trailer does something Star Trek has never done, which is look exciting. I’ve always cared about the drama and suspense of Star Trek, but the action has always been lacking, its best moments carried out by older captains and slow space fights. This new Star Trek is going for Star WARS fans, and that cool. As long as they stay true to those characters and this universe, it’ll be a thing worth celebrating for Star Trek fans. Engage.

I’ll admit to being quite the geek contrarian. I never read the original Watchmen book, and quite frankly was disappointed in 300, which had a similar level of geek excitement. The last trailer, with the use of a frankly horrible Smashing Pumpkins song originally from the movie Batman & Robin (not the most wise association for a comic movie) had me convinced Watchmen was nothing to get worked up about.
This trailer hasn’t quite sold me on the film yet, but if you’re already excited, then you’ll go nuts. It is a much better trailer and actually contains hints at the story, which is nothing I got from the old ones.

IGN recent released an 8-minute clip for the CGI movie Resident Evil: Degeneration. The clip shows the beginning of the film’s story, starting with alot of brief backstory flashes detailing what happened publicly after the events of Resident Evil 2 & 3 and Raccoon City’s destruction. We see what happens as a result after 7 years have pasted since the incident.
The video comes in two actual parts. The first part is the 8-minute long opening which features plot and character shots, as well as lead-up. A second 3-minute video was made for a continuation of the scenes which featured MA-rated material. The second video is linked at the end of the first on IGN’s website.
Degeneration will soon have limited theatrical release domestically, and will be released to DVD and Blue-Ray on December 30th.
