In what seems like another swipe from the hype machine of Iron Man 2, we have even more images from the upcoming movie to share. Newsarama has 4 new images, in addition to the movie teaser poster we posted earlier today. This movie cannot come soon enough.

Iron Man 2 Teaser Poster

What seems like minutes after we got the first glimpse of War Machine from Iron Man 2, we now have an even better look. Granted, Rhodes’ armor is behind Stark’s, but we get a great idea how they’ll stack up.

Iron Man 2 will arrive in the US on May 7th, which is a really long time to look at such a cool poster. A teaser trailer is expected with the December 25th release of Sherlock Holmes, which also stars Robert Downey Jr in the title character.

First glimpse of War Machine from Iron Man 2

News comes via io9.com that the latest issue of Previews shows an ad for Diamond Select Toys’ Marvel Select Iron Man 2 War Machine armor. The ad only shows a sillouette, but there is a zoomed in view of the head (shown above) that is not blacked out. We can pretty much see Don Cheadle’s likeness in the War Machine helmet. This is sure to be just the first of hype for the upcoming movie set to be released on May 7, 2010.

You can see the full page ad after the jump.

Sequel to Mexican Independence Day (and real ID4) planned

Mexican Independence Day 2: Mexican Independence Day Ever
In a recent interview with MTV, which is blocked in Canada because of a joint asshatery between MTV and the CRTC, director Roland Emmerich expressed interest in two sequels to the hit movie Independence Day with a tentative title “ID4-ever”.

Nearly immediately after hearing news of this I began early plans for a sequel to the hit film Mexican Independence Day, a Mexican language version of the film. After an initial creative meeting yesterday with Daniel Gardner, co-star (Adam Baldwin) and co-writer of Mexican Independence Day, a tentative title “Mexican Independence Day 2: Mexican Independence Day-Ever” has been decided upon. Of course this title should definitely be classified as “In Production” and any change to the real film can drastically change the plans for this one. We are still quite hopeful to get all of the original cast back for the sequel, though Cheese is pretty old, and cats only live so long.
