Powet Guide to the DC Relaunch

Less than two weeks ago DC Comics announced they would be relaunching their entire line of comics, and that in September they would release 52 #1 comics. Over the past two weeks DC has slowly been announcing the series and creative teams behind all the new #1 issues. To make your life easier, we’ve collected information about all the announced series into one place.

DC UNIVERSE PRESENTS #1 kicks off the first arc of the series: a Deadman story by Paul Jenkins and Bernard Chang. The cover to issue #1 is by Ryan Sook.

	DETECTIVE COMICS Writer(s): Tony Daniel Artist(s): Tony Daniel	DC Comics’ flagship title is relaunched for the first time ever in DETECTIVE COMICS #1 by acclaimed writer/artist Tony Daniel. Marking the first time Batman will appear in a debut issue of Detective Comics, the series will find Bruce Wayne on the trail of a dangerous serial killer known only as the Gotham Ripper.
	BATMAN AND ROBIN Writer(s): Peter Tomasi  Artist(s): Pat Gleason	In BATMAN AND ROBIN #1, the acclaimed creative team of Peter Tomasi and Pat Gleason will explore the family dynamic of the Caped Crusader as Bruce Wayne battles the Gotham underworld with the help of his son, Damian, in the role of Robin.
	BATMAN: THE DARK KNIGHT Writer(s): David Finch Artist(s): David Finch	In BATMAN: THE DARK KNIGHT, superstar artist David Finch writes and draws a twisted adventure that pulls Bruce Wayne deep into the halls of the famed Arkham Asylum, a jail for Gotham City’s most dangerous and criminally deranged. Finch will team up with collaborator Jay Fabok on pencils.
	BATWOMAN Writer(s): J.H. Williams III, Haden Blackman Artist(s): Amy Reeder	The highly-anticipated new series from the multiple award-winning creative team of J.H. Williams III, Haden Blackman and Amy Reeder begins in BATWOMAN #1.
	BATGIRL Writer(s): Gail Simone Artist(s): Ardian Syaf, Vicente Cifuentes	Batgirl’s going to have to face the city’s most horrifying new villains as well as dark secrets from her past in BATGIRL #1, the stunning debut issue from fan-favorite writer Gail Simone and artists Ardian Syaf and Vicente Cifuentes.
	CATWOMAN Writer(s): Judd Winick  Artist(s): Guillem March	Meet Catwoman. She’s addicted to the night. Addicted to shiny objects. Addicted to Batman. Most of all, Catwoman is addicted to danger.
