Gargoyles Comic Book #1 Review

After a week delay in it’s release we finally get the much anticipated first book of the Gargoyles comic. There’s not much to say about this as it’s pretty much just a retelling of half an episode of the TV show. Waiting for some new material which we should be seeing in book 3 according to some liner notes in this issue. Still I managed to put together a 6 minute review so do enjoy it!

It’s a little rough at the beginning, with some pauses and “umms,” but then you really hit your stride.

why don’t you get a grey jumpsuit so it will look more like gargoyle skin?

Well the suit used to be much more complete with legs, arms, a “diaper piece” whatever that’s called as well as a rocket pack on the back. The costume is not actually of a Gargoyle but of Xanatos in his Gargoyle exoskeleton suit. Unfortunately I reused most of the pieces for my Soundwave costume a few years later not expecting that I would ever need this again.

Still the tighty whitey joke is done so I’ll surelyl wear some more appropriate pants next time. I really don’t know what I’ll do for the top though. Maybe a grey shirt. Meh.

I may be out of (arguably) humourous things to wear with it…

I really did’nt care for this book at all. The cover art is great cause its done by a pro. The inside artwork looks very unprofessional. There are better books to buy then this.

The storyline if your a gargoyles fan is great cause it is written by the creator of gargoyles, however I really think they need better artwork or this book will sink.
