Powet.TV at PAX East 2010

If you’ve been following us on Twitter, you’d already know that much of the diverse Powet.TV staff has congregated this weekend in Boston for the first-ever Penny Arcade Expo East! We arrived via plane, train, and automobile, although the journey was more fraught for some than others.

Read on to find out what you can expect from our convention coverage, as well as our report on the first official day!

Everyone arrived safely at the convention on Friday, although I didn’t make it there until several hours later than expected. Making hard-lemonade out of lemons, though, I did manage to learn a bit about the Tamagawa University dance and taiko team, also on their way to Boston for the beginning of a three week tour. But now that we’re all here, you can expect us to keep you apprised of the goings-on as they happen. Follow us on @PowetTV, @FamicomDojo, and @PowetToys for up-to-the-second commentary and pictures. Come back to Powet.TV for panel reviews and the occasional video (as fast as we can pump them out) — but then, if you’re following us on Twitter, you’ll know when they get posted.

I’ve put up a Friday digest over at 4colorrebellion.com for your perusal. Despite that I didn’t make until the evening, there was still plenty of life in the party. One of you lucky Powet Rangers even won a Famicom Dojo t-shirt as the first person to find me to sign their Season 1 DVD! (Which, by the way, is still on sale for $9.95 for just a few more days!)
