Never played the game, but I totally remember that cover art. Looks like Wil Wheaton!

I so fondly remember this game. And although there are lots of new games that are similar to it (Pokemon: Mystery Dungeon and Dokapon to name a few) I still thoroughly prefer this to most of the non-3D dungeon crawler.
Also, a close second, and a suggestion to anyone who liked this game would be The Immortal which was on the NES and also the Genesis, I believe.
