Heroes Season 1 to DVD and HD-DVD

According to SuperHeroHype, Universal Studio has announced Heroes’ first season will be making its DVD debut and high definition counterpart on August 28th. Each format will be packed with extras about the series. You can see all the details after the jump.

I know I’ll be keeping an eye out for this since the rest of the staff here has been hounding me to give it a view.

The seven-disc DVD set is packed with revealing bonus features, including five featurettes, over 50 deleted scenes plus the 73-minute Tim Kring cut of the original series premiere that has never aired on television and much more. SYNOPSIS

Mohinder Suresh (Sendhil Ramamurthy), a genetics professor from Chennai, picks up his late father’s research and makes an astonishing discovery — a seemingly random group of people around the world are developing astonishing super powers.
