Cap-Punisher
We here at Powet have come across a news source which has exclusively supplied us with a number of upcoming Marvel storylines! In fact, I can personally PROMISE you proof of these upcoming stories from Marvel:

  • Daredevil: Agent of SHIELD!
  • Wolverine vs. Hulk… To the death… OF BOTH OF THEM?
  • AND THEN, Wolverine comes back… as a vampire!
  • The Surfer is Galactus’s herald for now… Until he’s replaced by Dazzler!
  • The new Thor series puts the hammer in the hands of someone new: Rogue!
  • When Punisher becomes the new Captain America… Venom will become the new Punisher!

All the proof you could ask for AND MORE … After the jump!

Do my claims sound too dubious to be true? Well hold on to your incredulosity, because here’s the bombshell – The source of my information is none other than the old What If? series that Marvel used to publish. Wait, don’t run away! I have proof – Look how Marvel’s been using it to test drive stories FOR YEARS!

What if Daredevil became

What if Wolverine
had killed the Hulk?
Wow, check out that costume.
He’s not just blind, he’s also
colorblind. Also, take note –
the bottom half of that cover
has come true before. This one
is already half money, just wait
for the other half –
then it’ll be SO money.
This one may only prove me
half-right on its own, but
wait for the follow-up…
What If? Vol 2 #50
What If? Vol 2, #50
What if the Hulk had
killed Wolverine?
What If? Vol 2 #24
What If? Vol 2, #24
What if Wolverine was
Lord of the Vampires?
And together, the two stories
make a it a two-for-one!
Really, you gotta love how
that chrome shows up on a
computer screen. Ah, the 90’s.
Oh, my apologies – he won’t
be just any old vampire.
He’ll be LORD OF THE VAMPIRES.
Y’know, Jean really looks like
she’s enjoying herself, doesn’t
it? Oh hell, I didn’t just
spoil you for her return, did
I? Because I did find a couple
covers for that prediction.
What If? Vol 1 #33
What If? Vol 1, #33
What if Dazzler had become
the herald of Galactus?
What If? Vol 2 #66
What If? Vol 2, #66
What if Rogue possessed
the power of Thor?
You might think it’s dangerous
having someone who can single-
handedly defeat you also running
around as your herald. But, ask
yourself… is it dangerous, or
is it GENIUS? After all, Who out
there could stand up to the might
of Galactus and Dazzler COMBINED?
Beware her monstrous thighs!
They’re even more dangerous than the
might of her hammer! What, you think
that’s where the thunder’s coming from?
What If? Vol 2 #44
What If? Vol 2, #44
What if Venom had
possessed the Punisher?
Well… It looks like Venom isn’t really
becoming the Punisher, he’s just possessing
him. I have no clue what kind of agenda a man
like that would have. Maybe to sell a lot of
comics in the 90’s? Or wait… Could this
be the greatest Spider-Man 3/Death of Cap
crossover EVER? That’ll sell comics TODAY!

You know what? Nothing in the entire universe could top that last prediction. Marvel, I’d say you’d better be taking notes… but if past performance indicates anything, it’s that you’ve already seen these covers, and have planned the next 10 years of crossovers out with their help.

Poweteers, take heed. You read it here first.

Much love to The Grand Comic Book Database for their vast supply of comic book covers, without whom this would have been really, really, really difficult.

Happy April 1st, everybody!
