w00t! Brilliant use of no-camera!

I have to agree with the commentary, although I think I enjoyed it more. It’s just a painting committed to film.

I actually looked up the history of the Battle of Thermopylae, and indeed neither Miller nor the movie follows very closely to the history — but then I got that when they started portraying the enemy as orc-faced Ninjas, cave trolls, and flipper-baby executioners. At one point I leaned over to Caleb and said “I don’t think these are real Persians…”

Interestingly, the part where they pushed the Persian delegation into the well really was historically accurate.

Manliest movie ever.

Did the well go down forever though?

I was wondering why Zac got up to leave while the ending credits were still awesome. It didn’t even occur to me that maybe he thought they were *not* awesome.
