Celebrate Christmas Eve With Some TV
by Dru, filed in Animation, Crap on Dec.24, 2006
It’s Christmas Eve, and what better time to watch an old Christmas special, like this Claymation Christmas CLASSIC:
You can find a plethora of Christmas specials like this, all in their entirety ALL RIGHT HERE, from It’s A Wonderful Life, to the stop-motion classic Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer, to less obvious selections like The Office’s recent Christmas episode, or even the Star Wars Holiday Special (Part 1, and Part 2). It’s Christmas everybody, so even if you don’t celebrate it, ’tis definitely the season to watch a video of Chewbacca celebrating it.

I’m having an extremely hard time figuring out if you are joking or serious about the Claymation Christmas.

I freaking love the Claymation Christmas! Seriously, you don’t see that kind of top-tier stop-motion craftmanship any more, and you probably never will again, with the advent (and popularity) of CGI.
If you don’t love it, the baby Jesus is going to be supremely pissed off at you.

Oh I love it, just the “crap” tag was added so I thought you might’ve been sarcastic.

…I don’t remember why I put that in there. Maybe for the Star Wars stuff? Hell, my mind is indescipherable even to me.

I figured “crap” is a catch-all.
Did Claymation Christmas Celebration come on at all this year? It’s always been one of my favorites, but it’s hard as heck to keep up with holiday programs. I have a lot of old ones recorded on video tape that I watch every year, so it’s nice to know they’re available online.
