Whatever. I’m sold on the concept. It’s clever, even if it’s ultimately not representative of the film’s story. And it was certainly more iconic than a giant robot crushing a rover on Mars (even though I like that concept too).

Besides, it was one guy’s fan trailer. I’m not sure what else he could have done, really.

I think it would work best in the opening titles of the movie.

Either way, really solid effort. Transformers has inspired some amazing fan-fakes so far. I don’t recall seeing anywhere near this level for Star Wars, Spider-Man, etc…

Finally sat down and watched this, and it was fucking SWEET.

Less footage than I’d hoped, but much higher production values than I ever could have expected.
