Neo G1 Astrotrain?

Neo G1 Astrotrain RobotTFW2005.com has posted a gallery of what could possibly be the prototype of Astrotrain from the upcoming Neo G1 line that Hasbro has been teasing us with since Botcon. Little is known about the line other than it will contain updated versions of classic characters from Generation 1, the original series that kicked off the franchise so many have followed for a long time. Transformers Collector’s Club Membership Deadline Extended

Brian Savage from Master Collector sent out an email update to club members:

We have had so many people signing up at the last minute it will take us the weekend to process all of the memberships and renewals.

So we have decided to extend the membership sign up until 4:30 pm on Friday as we can still enter them in the database.

Marvel Transformers Issue 80I was perusing AFX.com‘s offerings of the He-Man mini-statues when I stumbled upon this listing.

The preorder page reads as follows:

I have not heard this announced before anywhere, so I’m not sure how official this is.



She-Dragon bringing fan service in June

She-DragonErik Larsen’s She-Dragon will be coming out in statue form in June 2006. The statue is 15 inches tall, handpainted and limited to 1800 pieces.

Masterpiece Starscream?

Masterpiece Starscream?Apparently included in the packaging of THS-02 Prime was a promo card for what appears to be the next figure in the Masterpiece line.
The card is covered with design sketches of Starscream that are crossed out haphazardly with a black marker. The english text reads: ‘Coming soon…’. One can only hope we get more information on this soon.



Black Alternator Prime Repaint Named

According to action-hq.com the name of the black repaint of the Alternator Optimus Prime figure will be the ever original, ‘Nemesis Prime’.

Their preorder lists the figure as ‘Transformers Alternators Dodge Ram Pick-up Tranemesis Prime (Black Version)’. Available in May ’06.



Transformers Titanium initial assortments

TitaniumLogotfw2005.com has posted a listing of the initial assortments for the Transformers Titanium line according to the pre-order webpage for an Australian store.

3″ Wave 1 (April): War Within Optimus Prime, Unicron, Beast Wars Megatron
3″ Wave 2 (May): Sideswipe, Starscream, Jazz
3″ Wave 3 (June): Beast Wars Optimus Primal, Megatron, Autobot shuttle
3″ Wave 4 (June): Optimus Prime, Smokescreen, Bumblebee
3″ Wave 5 (June): Scorponok, Grimlock, Predaking

6″ Wave 1 (May): War Within Optimus Prime, Megatron
6″ Wave 2 (July): Jetfire, Thundercracker
6″ Wave 3 (September): Optimal Optimus, Scourge

Of particular note is the wave 3 for the 6 inch figures. We have not heard of Optimal Optimus not Scourge prior to this. It is unknown at this time what version of Scourge this will be.



Gentle Giant expands Animated Maquettes beyond Clone Wars

Amidala and LeiaGentle Giant is expanding their successful line of maquettes beyond the Clone Wars animated series. According to this announcement, with the addition of another Clone Wars character, classic characters from the original trilogy will also be added. The new maquettes will include Leia with Artoo, Darth Vader and Boba Fett. Each of these statues will be made in the same style as the Clone Wars animation. Between Padme and Leia, there looks to be plenty of fan service for the fans of the animated series.
