Gargoyles Comic Number 2 Review

This review is a bit late but not nearly as late as this second issue of the Gargoyles comic which was an absurd 4 months behind schedule!

I really did’nt care for this book at all. The cover art is great cause its done by a pro. The inside artwork looks very unprofessional. There are better books to buy then this.

The storyline if your a gargoyles fan is great cause it is written by the creator of gargoyles, however I really think they need better artwork or this book will sink.

Meathead: I agree with you about the artwork… I’ve seen amateur fanart that is better! Using comics as a story-telling medium obviously makes the artwork very important, yet the style that these artists are using couldn’t be any farther removed from original show. I also can’t get over how poorly Brooklyn is drawn. The only Gargoyle that looks true to form in this style is Hudson.

Great job on the editing in this video BTW (going by each panel of the comic alongside the original episode). I think I saw an SNES down below the VCR too… LOL
