The Powet Top 5 – Best Chocolate Bars

Welcome to the Powet Top 5, where we explore the top (and bottom) 5 items we think are relevant to any of a variety of topics that span the imagination. Sit back, read, and respond.
Chocolate is pretty good. Valentine’s Day is coming up but people don’t really buy their lovers chocolate bars for Valentine’s Day but if they did, here are some decent chocolate bars! I’m not really a crazy consumer of chocolate bars but I do like a few. I’m not some snob that’s going to suggest some crazy import fancy bars that you’ve never heard of. In fact you’d be hard pressed to find a gas station that didn’t have most of these around here. So here are my top 5 favourite chocolate bars. What are yours?
5. Dairy Milk
Just a standard bar of milk chocolate, for when you’re not looking for something fancy. Most decent milk chocolate bars will do the job. There so much variety even in a simple chocolate bar, but so many of the choices are shit. I mean… dark chocolate? What’s wrong with these people? I’ll pass. Milk chocolate or no chocolate, thanks!
4. Aero
Do you like air? I like air. I also like chocolate. I like Aero because it’s a nice mix between chocolate and air! Yummy. Aero bars are pretty good but sometimes when you want to buy one it can take like 45 minutes just to get one from the vending machine or maybe you just went and did coke and the chocolate bar was an excuse, or maybe something else that’s not really a big deal at all.
3. Caramilk
Caramel is pretty sweet (literally!) so a nice chocolate bar which mixes caramel and chocolate is pretty damned boss. Caramilk bars are pretty delicious, and will get picked out of a Halloween stash or variety pack in a big hurry.
Advertising campaigns used to ask us just how they get the Caramel in the Caramilk bar. Well, it’s not exactly rocket science, we’re making chocolate bars. There are actually a ton of ways in which it could be done which don’t involve teleportation or phasing matter. I mean… you could just freeze the caramel or have a chocolate shaped ice cube tray. But we don’t need to speculate about the many simple ways in which this could be done, because the answer is out there! This web site explains in great details just how it’s done. Basically they have a mould that they fill with chocolate, cool, fill with caramel, cool and then cover in chocolate. Magic? No. Delicious? Yes!
2. Coffee Crisp
I like my Coffee Crisp! You don’t know from jokes.
I don’t drink coffee but I sure to love Coffee Crisp chocolate bars! They don’t really taste like coffee, but they do have a flavour quite unlike other chocolate bars.
1. Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups
Are these chocolate bars? Well they’re not really bars but they have … chocolate! Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups are totally delicious. The secret isn’t terribly complicated, it’s the combination of peanut butter and chocolate. Both are good on their own but together… oh my! A lot of lesser chocolate bars simply think that throwing in a few peanuts in chocolate will make it delicious but the secret is not peanuts, it’s peanut butter!
Those are my favourites, let us know what yours are in the comments!
PS: M&Ms and Reese’s Pieces are not chocolate bars!
