Reminder: Thundercats episode 10 ‘Sight Beyond Sight’ airs tonight

This is a really fun show, something I look forward to watching each week. (Even better that my wife is super into it as well!)  It’s a great update to a show that, in retrospect, wasn’t so great.  In particular, I enjoy how they are able to have these one-off stories that have nothing to do with Mumm-Ra (at least, not directly), and just explore the world of Third Earth.  Far from being empty and desolate, “my, Third Earth is full of things”, and really it’s just the isolation of the Cats that might have made it seem otherwise.

Speaking of which, it seems like there were either few survivors of Mumm-Ra’s attack, or Thundera is so overrun by his forces that the rest of the Thundercats are enslaved, and it isn’t safe for Lion-O and his crew to return until they have all the tools they need to defeat their oppressor.  I have a feeling when they do return, it will not be a pretty sight.
It reminds me of something, but I can’t quite put my finger on it…
